That is by using the small syringe to apply you can wiggle it through the hair and onto the skin and then you are able to dispense it slowly without any grudge from the pet. We have four purebred Chihuahuas and let me tell you, keeping them in medication is not cheap. I can pay you $114.95 for over a years worth of dosages, or I can buy $420 worth of retail K9 Advantix, ( and that's assuming I can find it for $105 for 12 doses on a site that offers free shipping). When fleas hatch and your dog is plagued by constant itching, she is likely to cause further discomfort by biting patches of skin raw. This is especially true for dogs which have flea-bite allergies, as a single bite can cause allergic dogs to break out in a rash all over. Frontline Plus is an effective solution for eliminating fleas, and is quick and easy to apply. We supply Frontline Plus in retail packages as well as bulk quantities, and this will reduce the overall expense of your dog’s flea treatments, as well as ensure that you have a sufficient supply for ongoing treatments.

Frontline Plus for Cats

Frontline Plus can also be used on cats – the chemical ingredients for Frontline Plus for dogs and Frontline Plus for cats are exactly the same. The formulation composition of the product is almost exactly the same, although the dose size is smaller due to cats being smaller in size. It is important to read the guidelines on your Frontline products carefully so that you do not exceed prescribed dosage size or treat an animal that is too young to be treated with Frontline – kittens that are younger than eight weeks old should not be treated with Frontline; you can investigate alternative treatments for pets which are outside of the acceptable age bracket.

Frontline Plus Kills Fleas and Ticks as well as Eggs

While shampooing your dog or cat may eradicate some fleas it is unlikely to kill all of them, as most will burrow down in your pet’s fur and escape detection. Live fleas are not the only problem, as minute flea eggs can still hatch once the live fleas have been destroyed. Frontline Plus is effective as it kills fleas, ticks and chewing lice at all stages of the life cycle, so that you can be certain of a flea-free pet once the treatment has been allowed to work.

Applying Frontline Plus

Frontline Plus is extremely easy to apply and is far simpler than having to hide tablets in food or inject your dog with any kind of treatment. The treatment is simply applied directly to the skin, on the back of the neck, between the shoulder blades where it can be absorbed easily. Application should be 48 - 72 hours before or after bathing as bathing washes away the natural oils in the skin that are essential in the absorption process of the Frontline Plus into the fatty layer just below the skin.
